Actor, Director. He was one of Mexico's premier Latino movie and television figures for four decades. As an actor, he made his film debut in the classic "Los Caifanes" (1966). His film roles also included, "Corona de lagrimas" (1968) "Un Camino" (1972), "Acorralado" (1984), "Pelo suelto" (1991) and "Reclusorio" (1997). On the International TV circuit he starred in, "La Hiena" (1973), "La Triacion" (1983), "Baila conmigo" (1992) and "Reclusorio" (1997). He received Best Actor Ariele nominations for "Nosotros" (1970), "El principio" (1972) and "La pachanga" (1981). In his later years he focused as a director on many International TV series to include, "Nunca te olvidare," "Amigas y rivales" and at the time of his death of a heart attack, the Latino TV soap opera "La fea más bella".
