Irene Triplett, nicknamed Rena or Ireny, is the daughter of Martin Triplett and Nancy Brown Livingston. She married Adolphus W Penley on 21 December 1841.
Children of Adolphus and Irene:
Luther Lee Penley, William Avery Penley, Jasper Lee Penley, Mary Ann Penley Robbins

Irene died 25 May 1855, from complications of childbirth. This information is corroborated by an elder living in Buffalo Cove, named Hawkins. When he was a young boy, he remembers hearing stories of this happening. He believes she is buried in the Penley Family Cemetery, nearby, just off of Penley Road.
