Mrs Eula Erma Lockamy, 73, of Neilson Nursing Home, Carolina Beach, NC, formerly of the Seagate community, died Tuesday afternoon in Cape Fear memorial hospital after an extended illness.
Mrs. Lockamy was born in Pender County on Feb. 3, 1909, and was the daughter of the late Winslow Jackson and Margaret Elizabeth Barnhill Holley. She was a member of the AARP No. 707, Daughter of America, and the Oleander United Methodist Church.
Surviving are a son, V. David Lockamy of Wilmington, NC; two grandsons, Keith Lockamy and Kevin Lockamy, both of Wilmington, NC; two granddaughters, Mrs. Brenda Newton of Wilmington, NC, and Mrs. Delores Yee stationed with the US Air Force in Phoenix, Ariz., and three great-grandchildren.
funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Friday in Coble's Oleander Chapel with the Rev. Billy Peele and the Rev. Paul C. Nix officiating. Interment will follow in Seagate Cemetery
