My husband's 2nd great grandfather Ellis Gatchel is not buried in the Blanchard Cemetery. He is buried in Rose Hill Cemetery in Nevinville, IA. His wife Mary, daughters Catherine and Martha are buried in the Blanchard Cemetery.
The gorgeous tombstone in the Blanchard Cemetery brings most of the family together genealogically, but son Uriah died at the end of the Civil war is buried in National cemetery in Keokuk and Ellis' other son Harmon died during the battle or Corinth in the Civil War.
Would you make a note of Ellis actual burial location (as evidenced by Iowa Cemetery records) [The WPA survey has both locations listed]
