Mrs. G.W. Bowman, of Horspen, Tazewell county, Virginia, died at 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon at her home following a lingering illness.

Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 11 o'clock at the Horsepen Church, conducted by the Rev. D.B. Gillespie and the Rev. Charles Sublette.

Mrs. Bowman is survived by the follwing children; Mrs. J.B. Yates, of Anawalt; Mrs. Rinda Bowman, of Newhall; J.H. Bowman, E.L. Bowman, Mrs. W.L. Freeman and Mrs. C.B. Daniel, all of Horsepen.
