My Grandad Fred, always remembered from Graham and all the family, married to Elizabeth. he died in 1980 from heart failure, he had battled severe depression all his life but manged to bring up 2 girls, my mum and my Aunty Doris. In 1935 they tragically lost their only son Alan, aged 6 months from TB, this being, I believe, the main cause of his depression. My Grandad was a great guy and always had us laughing, he used to fix watches, an art now very rare. We miss him so much and know that if he was alive would love all the fantastic technology we have now, like computers, mobile phones etc.
