Mr. Conaway worked in construction most of his life.
He was born Sept. 27, 1936, in Lincoln to the late Lewis and Gladys Goodman Conaway. He married Margaret Kingsley on June 24, 1955.
Surviving are his wife, of Lincoln; two daughters, Keena (and Keith) Roos of Lincoln and Konda Hatfield of Lincoln; four grandchildren, Jake Williams, Hannah Williams, Bo Hatfield and Ashlee Hatfield; two step-grandchildren, Autumn Roos and Summer Roos; a step-great-granddaughter, Trinity Morgan; one brother Larry (and Shirley) Conaway of Mount Pulaski; and one sister, Deloris (and Walter) Bryson of Lake Fork.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Kellie Jo Conaway; and one sister, Nancy Wilham.
He enjoyed fishing and loved to be surrounded by his children and grandchildren.
