Maxine Dixon Russell passed away at Methodist Hospice Residence. She was a native of Rogers Springs and was a graduate of Middleton High School, Class of 1949, lived in Memphis over 60 years and attended Bellecvue Baptist Church in Memphis, but retained her membership at New Bethel Baptist Church where she had formerly taught Sunday School.
Mrs. Russell remained active throughout her life, was an avid gardener, enjoyed spending time with her family and was always ready for a shopping trip.
