Son of Justice/Justus Wright and his wife, Mercy Lamson. Justice was the son of Josiah Wright, memorial #96416199 and his wife Abigail Boardman, memorial #96416268.
Justice moved his family (Mercy and sons William, Eli, & Truman) from Williamstown to Plainfield, Otsego Co, NY in 1800 where they re on the census, then to Geneseo, Ontario Co (now Livingston Co), NY where they can be found on the 1810 & 1820 census records. Finally, Justice & Mercy, Truman & his family, and his sons, Solomon & Adonijah all relocated to Troupsburg, Steuben Co, NY, where they can be seen living very near each other in the 1830 census. Justice and Mercy likely died in Troupsburg, but no record or grave has been found for either.
After Troupsburg, Truman and his family, including Adonijah and wife Amanda, moved to Ohio, likely using the Erie Canal. From there they moved to Piatt County, Illinois where Truman & Electa, Adonijah & Amanda, and Adonijah's young daughter Amanda are all buried.
