Reported age at time of death was 18 years, so evidently born about 1857.

Entry in Sexton's card file for Linwood Cemetery shows: Eliza DAVIS, female, died aged 18 years of T.B. [= tuberculosis]; interred 5-26-1875 in Section 2, Lot 30 1/2 - Sexton Abraham ODOM.

This grave is not identifiably marked. Lots 30 1/2 and 84 1/2 in Section 1 were owned by Emily DAVIS (date of sale and price of purchase not reported). Others reported to be here include: a child of George DAVIS, buried 19 JUN 1881 (stillborn); George DAVIS, buried 16 SEP 1898 (aged 40 years); and Syrena Emmaline "Emily" (McCOLLISTER) DAVIS, buried 17 JUL 1907 (aged 82 years).

City 1-30 1/2 and 84 1/2 appear to correspond with the southwest portion of Lot 164 in Section A of Dolores Autry's "Historic Linwood Cemetery" book (edited by Lea Dowd et al.), Volume 1. The lot evidently has no marked graves and is open to the lot on its north side, so Autry made no distinction between them.
