1966 TOLL RISES TO 326 AS INJURED UTAHN DIES

A Kearns woman injured in a one-car accident Saturday, died Monday at 12:25 a.m. in a Salt Lake County hospital. Claimed by head and abdominal injuries was Mrs. Phyllis A. Adamson, 28, 4627 Trinity Ave., Kearns.

Mrs. Adamson was injured Saturday at 1:43 p.m. when a car in which she was a passenger struck a utility pole near 5050 S. 4420 West. The northbound auto had spun out of control after going over a slick spot, said Deputy Tom Wayman of the Salt Lake County Sheriff's Office, who investigated.

Deputy Wayman identified the driver of the car as Marian Olson Mugleston, 34, 4615 Trinity Ave., who was hospitalized at Cottonwood Hospital for one day following the accident.

Another neighbor and passenger in the car, Rhoda Jo Webster, 4606 Trinity Ave., was treated at Cottonwood Hospital and released.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 2 p.m., in the Kearns 17th Ward Chapel, 4232 W. 5015 South. Friends may call at the Colonoial Mortuary, 2128 S. State, Tuesday, 6-8 p.m., and at the ward chapel Wednesday one hour prior to services. Interment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Funeral directors, Kay Colonial Mortuary.
