Rosie was my Aunt. She was my mom's youngest sister. After my mom, Hilda Moreno Valdez passed away.. she took up the slack. She was like a Mother to me. I loved her so very much.

She had Breast Cancer and had recently had a mastectomy, on May 1, 2002. On August 1, 2002 she passed away. I knew she was tired. She looked at me with those smiling, brown eyes and said, "I'm so tired, Diana Lynn. You just don't know how tired I am". But I knew. I could see it. She was in the hospital and I had called her youngest daughter, Olivia. She told me they had disconnected the life support machine. It was only a matter of time. I left my job, and Prayed all the way. I kept saying, "Tia Rosie, PLEASE hold on until I get there. Please, Please, Please" And I know she heard me because, within about 15 minutes that I arrived, while I was holding her hand, she took her last breath. I'll always love my Aunt and she'll forever be in my heart.

She was so funny. She loved to crack jokes. She also loved the casinos! She left to treasure her memory, her husband Raymond, two daughters, Olivia and Sandra (Sandy). As well as 2 grandsons Adam & Zack and 1 grand daughter, Jennifer. Two sisters and a host of nieces & nephews and many friends. She never had a chance to know her grand daughter, Elisa Lujan, who was born after her passing.

"I Love You Tia... Thanks for all you did for me and for many fond memories. You never judged me. All you did was LOVE ME, Thank You"!!
