Donald Kennedy, age 68 of Owosso, passed away on Monday, June 6, 2016, at Sparrow Health System.

Donald was born September 21, 1947, in Owosso, the son of William and Florence (Dennis) Kennedy.

He graduated from Corunna High School, class of 1966 and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War from 1967-1969, receiving a Bronze Star for his service.

Donald enjoyed watching wrestling on TV and listening to country music. He loved working on cars and trucks and spending time at the family cabin.

He married Suzanne Whitehead at St. Paul Catholic Church on April 17, 1971.

Donald retired from General Motors after 32 years as machinist and line leader.

Donald is survived by his wife Suzanne; son David Kennedy; daughter MaryAnn (James) Howard; grandchildren Angelisa and Tina Howard; brother William (Cathy) Kennedy; sisters-in-laws Diane Whitehead and Christine Whitehead; many nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents and son-in-law Patrick Harrison.
