Frances Anderson was born in 1785 in Virginia. Her parents were Nathaniel and Susannah Anderson, who had a total of eight children. Frances married Reddick Aycock, Sr. on 28 December 1809. The couple, who had nine children, relocated to Walton County around 1810. In the Census, Frances is listed as keeping house and Reddick as a lifelong Farmer and resident of Walton County. Reddick and Frances are buried in a small plot along Laboon Road south of Monroe. A moderate size marker has been placed at the site to mark the burial location, which includes sinks and other common burial site features. The area is still being studied by family researchers.
