She was born in Richmond on April 9, 1910 to Amelia May and Albert William Bishop.
She married Morris Howard in Farmington on July 19, 1932 and their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on July 3, 1936.
She will be fondly remembered as an excellent homemaker, cook, and hard worker. She had a great sense of humor. Her kindness and caring personality attracted many friends. She was very nurturing and was always available for her family.
She is survived by her three children, Joyce Johnson of Peoria, Arizona; Lorraine Bagley of Pleasant Grove, and Reese Howard of Holladay; a son-in-law, Carl Wendell Johnson; seven grandchildren, and eighteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Howard (1966); parents, ten brothers and sisters, and a son-in-law, Norris Reid Bagley.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, May 16, 2004 in the North Field Eleventh Ward Building, 1541 North 1300 West, Pleasant Grove, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 17, 2004 at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple Street, Salt Lake City, with a viewing one hour prior to the services.
Interment will be in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
