Ned Lane (1900-1958), 58, of 1714 Gillis Street, died at his home last night after a long illness.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m., at the Lemon Heights Baptist Church with Rev. John Strickland, pastor, and Rev. C. E. Faulk, pastor of Lundy Mission Church, officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Gardens with Edgar Johnson-W. Carl Davis & Son Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

The deceased had been a resident of Palatka for 30 years, coming from Georgia. He was engaged in the pulpwood business and was a member of the Lemon Heights Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Edna Lane; one daughter, Mrs. Donald (Reunette Lane) De Four; and three brothers, Hanabal, Doe and Claude Lane, all of Palatka; four sisters, Mrs. Maude Miller, Delray Beach, Mrs. Lena Hilliard, Melbourne, Mrs. Bertie Oliver and Mrs. Gladys Ward, Palatka, and one grandchild.
