Enrique "Papa Keki" Aranda 07/21/1919 ~ 06/05/2011 Resident of Tracy Enrique "Papa Keki" Aranda, 91, passed away Sunday, June 5, 2011 at New Hope Care Center in Tracy.
Mr. Aranda was a native of Jalisco, Mexico. He worked as a baker in Oakland for 30 years before retiring in 1981.
He is survived by children; Nelly Peinado (Manuel) of Tracy, Maria Castellanos (Jesus) of Ripon, Guille Aranda of Tracy, Yolanda Aranda of Tracy, Henry Aranda (Lynda) of Dublin, Gloria Wiltz (Phil) of San Ramon.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Aurelia "Mama Keki" Aranda in 2010; 2 sons, Gil and Jimmy Aranda.
A Mass of Christian Burial at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, 163 W. Eaton Ave., Tracy, Friday, June 10, 2011 at 10:30 AM, followed by interment at Holy Sepluchre Cemetery, 26320 Mission Blvd., Hayward at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be at Hotchkiss Mortuary, 5 W. Highland Ave., Tracy, Thursday, 11:00 AM 7:00 PM followed by a Vigil (Rosary) Service at 7:00 PM. Hotchkiss Mortuary is in care arrangements.
