He was a pawn broker and a carpenter and was a member of Rockfield Church of Christ.

One daughter: Sandra Mann; three sons: Harold Coleman (Brenda), Tommy Coleman, Charles Coleman; six grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and extended family; and a host of friends.
