Carol Oard, 58, of Gladwin, Michigan passed away suddenly at her home on Sunday, March 13, 2015. She was born in Clare, Michigan on June 6, 1957, the daughter of Harold & Agnes (Cameron) Oard. She was a lifetime resident of Gladwin County and she was employed with Mid Michigan Gladwin Pines as a Housekeeping Supervisor.
Carol was a very kind and caring person and she volunteered her services for the Michigan Eye Bank. Her memory will be forever cherished by her sister: Karen (Greg) Carpenter; brother: Jim Oard; nephews: Jared (Erin) Carpenter, Jimmy (Samantha) Oard, Jake (Tanya) Oard; niece: Jena Carpenter; 3 great nephews: Cameron, Tanner and Chase; as well as many extended family members. Her parents preceded her in death.
Funeral Services will be conducted by Fr. Marcel Portelli on Friday, March 18, 2016, 11:00 A.M. with visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Gladwin, Michigan. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 17, 2016 from 3-8:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, Michigan.
Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be used according to the wishes of the family. She will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Gladwin, Michigan.
