Harriette Finkelstein Firestone, 73, passed away Saturday, February 27, 2016 in Atlanta, GA.

She was born May 28, 1942 in Greenville, SC and raised in Spartanburg, SC, a daughter of the late Jacob P. Finkelstein and Jeanette Davidson Finkelstein.

Harriette was a graduate of Spartanburg High School and attended The University of South Carolina. She was a founding member of Temple Shalom in Myrtle Beach. She was active in Hadassah on a national level and also founded the local chapter in Myrtle Beach.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Steven A. Firestone; son Jeffrey (Jodi); twin grandchildren, Evyn and Max of Atlanta, GA; brothers, Charles Finkelstein of Spartanburg, SC and Sam Finkelstein of Canton, OH.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, March 4th at McMillan-Small Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Southern Palms Memorial Gardens in North Myrtle Beach.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association , 1105 48th Ave N., Suite 109, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577.
