ANCESTORS OF GOLDA
1-Robert Lee McLaughlin & Della Alice Trook
2-Benjamin Franklin Trook & Martha A. Pemberton
3-John Elmer Trook & Emily Jane Knight
4-Daniel Cain Knight 1801 & Elizabeth Mary Wallace
5-Samuel Knight 1770 & Hannah Cain
6-Solomon Moman Knigh 1746t & Elizabeth Simpson
7-Able Knight 1715 & Rachel Head
8-Thomas Knight II 1685 & Sarah Elizabeth Plumly
9-Giles Knight 1653 & Mary English
There are 12 more generations of Knights available but, Giles Jr. and Mary English were the first in this country, coming in 1682 with William Penn on the "Bristol Society". They were married in the Abington MM in Glocestershire, England and attended various Monthly Meeting in Philidelphia before making their home church at the Byberry Mountly Meeting and buried in their cemetery. The orginized Quaker Churches started in 1652 so it was a young church when they married.

In all fairness this is just a tip of the ice burg that I will gladly share. I have several of the grandmothers family's traced also and one of the biggest surprises is Elizabeth Mary Wallace. Her family traces back to Mary Rose Tudor, sister of Henry VIII. I chose to follow the Knight family back because my Grandmother was Lora Edith Knight, Grand Daughter of Daniel Cain Knight and Elizabeth Mary Wallace.
