Arthur Weston, 82, of 3171 Keewahin Drive, died today in Port Huron Hospital.
He was born May 6, 189, in Birmingham, England, and resided in Fort Gratiot Township 50 years. He married Dora Ellen Pugh July 3, 1919, in Birmingham, England.
Mr. Weston served with the Canadian Army in England for five years during World War I.
He retired from the Fort Gratiot School in 1961. He was a former member of the Canadian Legion. He was a charter member of Noruh Grotto and Fort Gratiot Lodge 374, F. & A.M.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, Alfred A. and Norman, both of Port Huron; a brother, Thomas, Toronto, Ont.; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Visiting hours at Pollock-Randall Funeral Home, Port Huron, begin at 7 p.m. Saturday.
Memorials may be made to the North Grotto Cerebral Palsy Fund.
