"Munda" age 96 passed away peacefully on Monday the 1st of February. She was born to Vicente and Angelita Tovias on January 23, 1920. Munda was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt, godmother, and friend. She is preceded in death by her sister Tomacita Martinez; brothers Marcelino Tobias; Antonio Tobias, Eluterio Tobias; and niece Alice Yannuzi. Munda retired from American Waste Paper Co./ Vista Fibers Co. and returned part time after caring for her mother. She enjoyed her plants and cooking. Munda loved spending time with her family and visiting with friends. She was greatly loved by her nieces and nephews, and their families, and will be greatly missed by all. Munda is survived by an extended family including her sister/caregiver Maria T. Martinez; brother Gilbert Tobias; sister Santiaga Garcia (Gus); 20 nieces and nephews; and numerous lifelong friends. The family is grateful for Munda's care givers Maria P. Delatorre and nurse Raphael Saenz.
