Rosalind Rainey Henderson, 88, of Tucker, died Sunday, January 11, 2004. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 15, 2004 at Floral Hills Memory Gardens, Tucker. A native of Ellaville, Georgia, Mrs. Henderson was a graduate of Georgia Southwestern College and had retired from the Internal Revenue Service. The Rainey family was one of the oldest pioneer families of Ellaville (Schley County), in the southwest part of the state. Mrs. Henderson was preceded in death by her husband, Warren L. Henderson and her sister, Elizabeth Council. Survivors include son, Frederick Warren Henderson, Tucker; sister, Lillian R. Edge, Birmingham, AL; brother, Frederick Rainey, Duluth. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Bill Head Funeral Home, Lilburn/Tucker Chapel. 770-564-2726.
