Funeral for Clyde Resident Set Today

Funeral for Mrs. W. J. Christian 66, resident of Clyde since 1922 who died at 2:35 a.m. Monday at the home of a son, Pearson Morgan, who lives near Lytle Lake, is to be held at 10 a.m. today at the Baptist Church in Clyde.

The Rev. Jessie B. Leverette is to conduct the service. Burial is to be in the Clyde Cemetery under the direction of the Patterson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Christian, who had been in ill health for several months, was born Sept. 3, 1878 near Greenville in Hunt County.

Pallbearers will be R. L. Johnson, Mike Pyeatt, M. Y. Anderson, Mel Green, Hardy Tyler and Jim Cody.
