Funeral services for Mrs. Mathilda Anderson, 92, former resident of Birch Lake and Granview, who died Friday, will be Monday 2 p.m. at the Birch Lake Lutheran Church. The Rev. N. A. Nelson will officiate and burial will be in the Birch Lake Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Pascoe-Gildersleeve Funeral Home after 3 p.m. Monday.
Mrs. Anderson was born July 31, 1864 in Sweden and lived in the Birch Lake and Grandview area for many years. Her husband preceded her in death Feb. 28, 1956.
Surviving are two sons, Eric Thompson, Ashland and Fred Thompson, Gastonia, N.C.; eight grandchildren; and 14 great grand-children.
