dau of Jesse Elihu Linch and Fannie Lou Koonce .
Jesse Linch, was only Linch family in Ashe Cty at that time (1820 census) with a child Cenia's age
Married ca 1830s Jordan Anderson Davis
Owned about 300 acres in Windfall section of Ashe Cty. near now Tuckerdale.
Two tracks were bought from Taylors and one track on the waters of Big Horse creek (a NC land grant received 9/14/1852 for five cents an acre)
Jordan died at the age of 43 leaving Cenia with many young children.
Probably buried in now lost farm cemetery. No stone.
NOTE
Sept 1907 she was still living when son John married Edith Roark. John listed father dead and mother alive.

Grandchildren filed ECAs in 1906. they are on file in the National Archives ECA 18072 Jackson Davis and ECA 1873 Francis Ham.
