Aniela came to the United States in 1903. According to her Ellis Island record she first stayed with her cousin Marja (Maria) Mierzwa in Yonkers. She married Joseph Zemba in 1910 in Yonkers. They had five children:

Josephine (Henry Yonetti)
Stella (unmarried as of 1966)
John
Theodore
Leon

Aniela's sister Anna later came to the United States. Anna married John (Jan) Sopalski/Sopalsky.

John and Anna are buried in St. Joseph's Cemetery. According to Aniela's obituary, she is also buried here. I am assuming Aniela's husband, Joseph Zemba, is also buried here but have not added him to Find A Grave yet as I would like to confirm this first.
