Marjorie is the twin of Margaret Mccown (1920-1921). Marjorie's nickname "Skipper" was only used by her son-in-law, William Miller; no one remembers why. Grandma always had a glass of instant iced tea in one hand and a Carlton cigarette in the other. She liked watching The Jack LaLanne Show on the small black and white TV in their living room. She and her husband belonged to the Indiana Bell Rifle Club where they were both Sharpshooters. Marjorie worked as an LPN.

How Paul and Marjorie Met and Married:

"My buddy Harry Slliman lived across the street from Marjorie's half-sister Lorraine and husband Oliver Kensinger (6100 block of Rosland St., south of Broadripple; Indianapolis). Sometime during Marjorie's senior year of high school she traveled to Indiapolis to babysit the Kensingers two daughters while they went on a trip. After they returned Marjorie returned to Clinton, MO to finish school. After graduating high school Marjorie moved in with the Kensingers. My buddy Harry dated Marjorie for a time and then I began dating her. We dated for a couple years before we married" - Per interview with Paul on 11/13/2006

The Honeymoon: "I was working at what was then called Bell Telephone as a cable splicer, which required travel within Indiana. We were married at Trinity Church in Indianapolis. The "honeymoon" was at a hotel in Kokomo, Indiana where I was living while traveling to surrounding cities to splice cables for Bell. We spent a couple weekends at Lake Schaffer sailing a rowboat the boyscouts had modified into a sailboat." - Per interview with Paul on 11/13/2006
