BATESVILLE– Barbara Killebrew White, 54, died Wednesday, February 24, 2010, at St. Francis Hospital Hospital in Memphis.

Services were Thursday at Springhill Asa M.B. Church in Courtland. Rev. Lewis Wilson officiated. Cooley’s Mortuary had charge.

White, born Dec. 16, 1955, to the late Johnny Killebrew and Irene Kuykendall Griffin of Batesville, was a cook for Batesville Middle School and a member of Robertson Chapel in Oakland.

Survivors along with her mother, include: her husband, Wesley White of Oakland; one daughter, LaShenna Killebrew of Batesville; one son, Tawone Killebrew of Batesville; seven sisters, Gwen Lamar of Courtland, Hattie Jackson, Erma Attwell, Kededia Doston, all of Memphis, Joann Killebrew, Johnnie Killebrew and Kimberly Killebrew, all of Michigan; nine brothers, James Killebrew, Marvell Kuykendall, Danny Ray Griffin, David L. Griffin, Benard Griffin, all of Batesville, Darnell Killebrew and Demetric Killebrew and Cornell Killebrew, all of Memphis and James Killebrew of Michigan and nine grandchildren.
