Services are tomorrow at 2 p.m. at Spring Hill A.S.A. M.B. Church in Courtland. Rev. Lewis Wilson will officiate. Visitation will be today 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. at Cooley's Mortuary. Burial will be in Spring Hill A.S.A. Cemetery. Cooley's Mortuary has charge.
Smith, born Feb. 2, 1949, in Crenshaw to the late Martin Smith Sr. and the late Cansader Jones Smith, was an associate minister and a member of Spring Hill A.S.A. M.B. Church.
Survivors include his wife Carolyn Smith of Courtland; one step-daughter Certia Johnson of Batesville; three sisters, Mary Faulkner and Florene Smith, both of Batesville and Doris Brown of Courtland; six brothers, Martin Smith Jr., Ralph Smith, Darrell Smith and Tony Smith, all of Batesville, Lewis Smith of St. Louis, Mo., and Sundance Smythe of El Paso, Texas and three step-grandchildren.
