Died - Burley, Feb. 22, 1892 of asthma and la grippe Allison Burley died at the residence of his daughter Mrs. T. C. Karr 2580 Maple Street, Omaha, Nebraska, after a severe illness of six weeks.

The deceased was born in Kingston, Ontario, Canada May 9, 1833 and was at the time of his death 58 years 9 months and 13 days old. At the age of 16 he moved in company with his parents to Meaford, Ontario where he resided for 20 years, during which time he was married to Amy Jane Seaman and became the father of eleven children all of whom survives him but 3 sons.

In 1870, he moved with his family to Iowa, and two years later to Nebraska, where he remained until the time of his death. One year after he settled in Neb. he buried his beloved wife, and was left alone with his large family to contend with the hardships of a pioneer life.

He was converted at the age of nine and became a memeber of the M. E. Church, and he lived a consistent life since that time, and although his physical sufferings intense, his faith in Christ enabled him to bear them with Christian fortitude.

The funeral services were conducted in the M. E. Church at 2 p.m. Feb. 25 and the remains were laid to rest by the side of his companion in the Osceola Cemetery.
