Frieda S. Gantter
Services for Frieda S. Gantter, 96, of 425 Craig St., who died Wednesday at her home, will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Stephen's Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Welter-Price Funeral Home, 2649 James St.
Mrs. Gantter was a life resident of Syracuse. Her husband, Herman, died in 1958. She and her husband operated a bakery 40 years on Grant Boulevard.
Mrs. Gantter was a communicant of St. Stephen's Lutheran Church and a life member of the Syracuse Liederkranz Club.
Surviving are a son, Richard H. of Constantia; a sister, Helen Harrington of Syracuse; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Contributions may be made to the Central New York Chapter of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
