"Miss Pearl Davies, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Davies of Texas, and granddaughter of the late Jesse Miller of Pointers Creek, died at her home in Quilan, Texas, January 20 (1924). Miss Davies some years ago visited her uncles, W. L. Davies and J. O. Miller and families and other relatives in this part of the state and is well remembered by a number of our people all of whom will regret to learn of her death.Deceased leaves beside her parents, one sister, mrs. Jewel Haines, and a brother, Mr. Sebe Davies, and to them go out the sympathy of our entire citizenship in their sad bereavement."
