Death Notice ~ Maria Hopper Alyea

DIED – ALYEA – In this city, on Saturday, February 13, 1915, Maria Hopper Alyea, widow of Albert Alyea, aged 77 years.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Tuesday, February 16, from her late residence, at Riverside, Wagaraw bridge, at 2 o'clock p. m. Interment at Ridgewood at convenience of family.

Gravesite Details

On the 7 th of January 1949, several bodies were disinterred from the Old Paramus Dutch Reformed Church Cemetery and reinterred to the George Washington Memorial Cemetery in Paramus, NJ. Out of 531 buried at Paramus Plains, 503 were moved here.
