Sam was an Army Food Service Specialist, a cook, who provided nutrition and nourishment for military personnel. Service was in the 378th Maint Co., 185th Maint Bn., 1st Log Command. His tour date started on 05/21/1970 and he died in Bien Hoa Province of South Vietnam at the age of 19 years.
Sam's name appears on the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington DC at Panel 3W on Line 34. In addition, it appears on the Central Florida Veterans Memorial Wall at the Orlando VA Medical Center at Lake Nona.
