Death Of A. Koop Found Accidental
- Inquest into death of Aaron Koop, 19, killed at Maunsell Crossing Sept 5 was held in Pincher Creek Thursday evening
- Witnesses and train crew gave their evidence to the jury
- After a half hour deliberation the following verdict was brought in:
That Aaron Koop came to his death about 5:00 pm on Tuesday Sept 5 1944 at Maunsell Crossing by the truck which he was driving being struck by the CPR passenger train No 12. From the evidence, we the members of the jury consider that no blame whatever should be attached to any of the train crew,"
