Elizabeth was the daughter, and heiress, of Thomas Wylde of Glazeley Hall (d. 1598-1599), Salop and Kempsey, Worcestershire and his wife, Elizabeth Cooke, daughter of Richard Cooke of Fullwell Hatch.

She married Sir Edward Bullock (c. 1580 - 1644) the elder son of Edward Bullock of Wigborough and Loftes in Great Totham and his wife, Joan Collen of High Laver, Essex.

Sir Edward was knighted by King James I and was a Cavalier during the English Civil War. He purchased Faulkbourne Hall in 1637; the manor was held in the Bullock family for 260 years (over 10 generations).
