I believe Ann Webster Brown was put on the headstone as Mary Webster Brown. As Ann was the one married to a Brown.
Frances' mother was Mary Anne Webster Bales and she is buried in Newmarket Cemetery, Newmarket, Ontario. She was born in 1826 and died in 1915.
Another confusing part of the "Mary Webster Brown" on the stone are the dates. Neither Ann or Mary Ann were born in 1832 and neither died in 1907.
The only female Webster born in 1832 was Elizabeth (a sister to Ann and Mary Anne) however she died in England in 1852 before the family came to Canada.
I will note that the dates for Elsie May are wrong as well. She was born in 1896 and died 1918. Not the 1886 to 1907 on the stone.
Also, Elizabeth A. Webster has 1884 as her birth year on the headstone but her death registration says she was born in 1886.
Given the many wrong dates on the stone and the only one with the surname of Brown was Ann I believe she is here but with the wrong first name and dates.
