Amy Hepworth, 93, of Gridley died Nov. 5, 2007, at her residence.

Born in Gridley, she was a lifelong Mid-Valley resident.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Survivors include four daughters, Bernadine Dustin of Gridley, Idonna Johnson of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Margo Hepworth of Hamilton, Mont., and Cindy Dean of American Fork, Utah; a sister, Eunice Dennis of Maxwell; 14 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Hepworth; five brothers; and a sister.

Donations may be made to the Family History Library and left in care of Gridley-Block Funeral Chapel, 679 Ohio St., Gridley, CA 95948.

Services: A funeral service is at 10 a.m. Friday, preceded by visitation starting at 9 a.m., at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Liberty Ward, 1259 French Ave., Gridley, with Bishop Grant Goodman officiating. Burial follows at Gridley-Biggs Cemetery in Gridley. Arrangements are under the direction of Gridley-Block Funeral Chapel in Gridley. Published in Appeal Democrat on Nov. 7, 2007.
