BAKER
ROBERT, 87 years of Pitman, NJ on December 4, 2011
LEGACY
Bob, as most knew him, was an active outdoorsman who loved staying active. Whether it was surf fishing and crabbing in Ocean City, placing a few bets at the Harrah's Casino, tending to his tomato garden, pitching a few baseballs or cheering on the Phillies and Eagles to victory, Bob enjoyed being outdoors. He dedicated many years performing maintenance at the Iron Ore Pier and assisting in the construction and maintenance of structures such as the Walt Whitman Bridge and the Chesapeake Bay Tunnel. Bob was also a gifted handyman at home building Anna's dreams into reality. A friendly gentleman who loved meeting a new listener will be missed by many family, friends and neighbors.
FAMILY
Beloved husband to Anna K. (nee Griffith); Devoted father of Robert W. (Kathleen); Loving grandfather of Bob J.; Dear brother of Charles S. and the late Louise Ballantine.
