Early in life Lizzie Mae accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior and joined the Church Hill Baptist Church. She later united with the Mount Vernon Baptist Church where she served on the Mothers' Ministry, President of the Ushers' Ministry, and Senior Choir.
During her period of employment Lizzie was a bus driver for the Christian County Board of Education.
In addition to her father, Lizzie leaves to forever cherish her memory her husband: George "Boo-Boo" White; five (5) sons: Ben (Charlotte) Wilford, Jesse (Lisa) Loving, and Jonathan Johnson - all of Hopkinsville, KY, Bernard Loving of Indianapolis, IN, and Timothy (Lisa) Loving of Beattyville, KY; six (6) daughters: Dorothy (Cornelius) Evans and Gwendolyn (Kelvin) Johnson - both of Indianapolis, IN, Shannon (Jimmy) Byrd, Elane Rogers, and Rondia (Robert) Daniels - all of Hopkinsville, KY, Carla (Lavito) Saulsberry of Oak Grove, KY; three (3) sisters: Thelma Dunnigan of Joliet, Ill., Cynthia Wilson of Owensboro, KY, and Katherine Scott of Louisville, KY; forty-four (44) grandchildren, forty-three (43) great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a wide circle of friends.
Arrangements were made by Gamble Funeral Home in Hopkinsville.
Services held in Gamble Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, May 16, 2008, at 1 p.m.; Rev. Dennis Radford, officiant.
Burial in the Church Hill Baptist Church cemetery.
