Fern Dahl Oliver, 78, passed away Friday, March 31, 1995 at Rocky Mountain Care Center in Clearfield.
She was born July 12, 1916 in West Point, Utah, a daughter of John Walter and Laura Patience Judkins Dahl. She married Cecil Coleman Oliver, May 12, 1945 in West Point, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He passed away May 5, 1991. She was reared and educated in West Point, graduated from Davis High and attended Stevens Henager Business College. She had lived in Ogden; Billings, Montana; Mesa, Arizona; and lived with her brother, Blair Dahl in West Point after her husband's death. She was an active member of the LDS Church, served an LDS Mission in the East Central States Mission. She was co-owner of C.C. Oliver Trucking Company, Oliver Trailer Sales and worked as a bookkeeper for Smith Canning Company.
Surviving are one brother, Blair P. and wife Ilene Dahl, West Point, Utah; five nieces and four nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 4, 1995, 11 a.m. at the West Point 1st LDS Ward, 4383 West 300 North, West Point. Friends may call Monday from 6 to 7 p.m. at Lindquist's Clearfield Mortuary, 1050 South State and at the church Tuesday from 9:30-10:45 a.m. Interment, West Point City Cemetery.
