He married Madeleine Devicques in Tomahawk, Wisconsin December 11, 1946.
He owned and operated a restaurant in Rhinelander, Wisconsin, before moving to this area in 1965. He was
employed as a laboratory technician at the American Hoechst Corporation.
In World War II, he served in the European Theatre. He was a member of the First Congregational United
Church of Christ, the church's Triple S Club, and had been moderator and a member of the church's board of
trustees.
