First, please respect the volunteers who make this community what it is. This includes when you see a photo on FAG there is always the contributors link under it. Please click and ask permission to use it, after all the photo copyright does in fact belong to them.

Second, I am willing to transfer memorials I manage to someone who is direct line descendent.

Third, make all edits using the "Edit" option on the memorial.

I've been doing genealogy for 12 years now. I find this a fascinating journey, not in just "grabbing" information but is truly "walking in their shoes". Learning the history of their lives, the places they've been and the times they lived in.

I contribute on FAG because I want to help other discover their genealogy. For myself I found information on my family here and consider it priceless information and I am thankful for all those who contribute to this site.

Finally, understand I'm human. I do make mistakes no matter how careful I am in posting and updating information. I do my best in memorials to work with pictures of the gravesite when entering information not directly related to me. So when asking about more information, please keep in mind I'm not perfect and I'm not here to do everyone's genealogy. No matter how much I want to do and help everyone with theirs, there will never be enough hours.

Also, please, please when making photo requests, please provide as much information about the location of the headstone you're asking us to take a picture of. Even those where you give full location information, keep in mind we don't always have good maps and we don't know the layout of said cemetery. Please give us time. You may even call the cemetery and ask details on the location you seek.
