Major League Baseball Player. Birthname Leopold Christopher Hoernschemeyer. Played major league baseball with the St. Louis Cardinals from 1911 to 1914, the Brooklyn Tip-Tops in 1915, the New York Yankees in 1916 and 1917 as well as the St. Louis Browns in 1917, the Cincinnati Reds in 1918 and the Brooklyn Robins and Chicago Cubs in 1919. His best season was 1915 as the regular secondbaseman for the Brooklyn Tip-Tops. He hit .323 with 4 homeruns, 49 RBI's and also had 34 stolen bases. His lifetime batting average was .276 and he hit 12 homeruns in his 9 year major league career.
