Rose Auriemmo, 84, of Red Maple Road, (formerly of Atwood Road, Stone Ridge) died Monday, April 30, 2012, at the Kingston Hospital. She was born in Brooklyn on Nov. 12, 1927, a daughter of the late Francesco and Louisa Marigliano Auriemmo.
A longtime area resident, she had previously been employed in the clerical department for McKesson and Robbins in Rego Park and also Chemical Bank in Kingston. She retired in 1979.
She is survived by one sister, Marie Arena, of Long Island; and a niece with whom she resided, Mary Lendino, of Saugerties. Also survived by several other nieces and nephews. Two brothers and a sister died previously. A Mass of Christian Burial will offered 11 a.m. on Friday at St. Peter's Church, Rosendale. Rev. Andrew Florez will officiate. Interment will be in St. Peter's Cemetery, Rosendale. Friends may call Friday after 9 a.m. prior to the Mass at the George J. Moylan Funeral Home, Inc., 2053 Route 32, Rosendale.
