He was preceded in death by his wife of more than 50 years, Gertie Mae Phillips Fowler; one sister, Ruth Burgess; and two brothers, Herbert and Herman Fowler. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Marie and Rickey Oglesby, Dewy Rose, and Karin and Thomas Morris, Colbert; grandsons and their spouses, Rodney and Becky Oglesby, Todd and Christy Morris, and Brad and Jill Morris; great-grandchildren, Carley, Zachary, and Griffin Morris; sister, Polly Leon, Lavonia; and brother, Don Fowler, Anserson, S.C.
