Survivors include his wife, Minnie; two brothers, Harry of Decatur, MI and George of Logansport; two sisters, Lula (Latz) Spears of Logansport and Mrs Mary Grusenemeyer of Route 3, Logansport; and a nephew, Walter of Chicago, IL; the couple had no children.
Joseph and Minnie moved to Chicago shortly after their marriage and resided there for thirty-five years. They returned to Logansport in 1940 following Mr Latz's retirement from the Belt Railway in Chicago.
Joseph was a member of the Ninth Street Christian Church.
Burial was at Mount Hope Cemetery, Logansport, IN.
