She had in Warmenhuizen the following siblings:
* Grietje, born 10 January 1829;
* Arie, b. 28 Nov 1830, died 15 April 1833, Warmenhuizen;
* Arientje, b. 11 July 1833;

* Antje, 13 Apr 1842, d. 17 Jul 1862, Wamenhuizen;
* Stillborn male Molenaar, b. 2 Dec 1844.

On 24 December 1870 the 23 years aged Jacoba Molenaar married in Warmenhuizen the two years younger laborer Pieter Molenaar.

On 19 March 1872 they had in Krabbendam, house number 8 in Wijk (District) C of Warmenhuizen son Pieter Molenaar.

In 1873 they emigrated to the USA, Illinois, very probably to Chicago or just south it.

On 30 October 1884 her husband Peter Molenaar was naturalized by a Superior Court in Illinois, Cook County, very probably in Chicago.

Since about 1886 they lived with their children in Indiana, very likely in the Munster area.

In June 1900 Jakoba (53 y, born in December 1847 in Holland, immigrated in 1873, 29 years married, mother of 2 deceased and 7 living children), her husband Peter Molenaar (51, December 1849, Holland, immigrated in 1873, 29 years married) and their children Marten (28, September 1872, Illinois, farm laborer), Henry (15, December 1885, Illinois), John (13, April 1887, Indiana) and Gracy (9, January 1891, Indiana) were living at their own farm in North Township (excl. East Chicago, Hammond & Whiting town), very likely in the Munster area, Lake County, in the utter northwestern part of Indiana, about 30 miles southeast of Chicago.

In 1907 the new town of Munster was incorporated and named for the Dutchman Jacob Monster aka Munster, who settled in this area in 1855 with some other Dutch immigrant families.

In 1910 Jacoba (62, Holland, immigrated in 1873), her husband Peter Molenaar (60, Holland, immigrated in 1873) and their son John Molenaar (22, Indiana) were living in North Township, very likely still in the Munster area, Lake County, Indiana.

Her husband Peter Molenaar died in June 1918 at the age of 68 years in Munster, Lake County, Indiana. Widow Jacoba died there too, in 1931 at the age of about 83 years and was also buried in the Munster Christian Cemetery.
